Eliomer Laureano Ortiz is a film producer and professor. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico and holds a Juris Doctor from the same institution's School of Law. He also holds a postgraduate specialization in Marketing, Communication, and Political and Governmental Strategy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

He has produced nearly a dozen successful Puerto Rican films, including "Los Mecánicos", "Barrote Films", "Creeré", and "Enredo de Reyes". Several of these productions are currently in post-production, while some of his productions have premiered as top-grossing box office hits and achieved top television ratings. Critics have praised his production of "Los Mecánicos" as one of the best films in Puerto Rican cinema. Laureano has also been involved in major large-scale productions in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and for Disney+.

Furthermore, he serves on the film faculty at Atlantic University in Guaynabo and is a member of the Board of Directors for the prestigious Puerto Rico Film Festival (PRFF), reflecting his deep commitment to the development of the local film industry.
